            TRANSPORTATION LIABILITIES

The Piper Aircraft Corporation does not hold itself liable for damages to parts in transit from the factory. If a shipment is received in a
damaged condition, have the delivery man or transportation company make a notation of the damage and file your claim with the carrier.
In case of concealed damage, do not attempt to remove from shipping container or endeavor to repair, but call carrier and have claim agent
inspect the damage before filing your claim with the carrier.

EXPLANATION OF NEW PART NUMBER SYSTEM

In order to standardize our part numbering system we have found it necessary to fill out our drawing numbers with one or two zeros in
order to show seven digits. Thus if you now have in stock part number 12561, your bin marker should be changed to 12561-00. By the same
token, part number 10672-2 should be changed to 10672-02. To further clarify this, a five digit number has a dash and two zeros added. A
number with a dash and one number is to have a zero placed between the dash and the number.

We have shown the part number conversion throughout the catalog and ask that you select the numbers shown in the NEW PART NUMBER
            column when placing your order.

Your cooperation in the use of the new part number system will be of immeasurable help to us in processing your orders.
