INTRODUCTION

This Parts Catalog covers both the Piper VAGABOND (Model PA-15) and the VAGABOND TRAINER (Model
PA-17) herein after only referred to as Model PA-15 or PA-17.

Due to the extreme interchangeability between the above named Aircraft, only one Parts Catalog has
been prepared for use in the selection of spare parts for both Aircraft.

The main points to keep in mind while using this Parts Catalog are: UNLESS THE MODEL IS GIVEN AFTER
THE PARTS NAME, THE PART IS FOR USE ON BOTH MODELS PA-15 AND PA-17. Should the quantity used
PER SHIP not be the same on both models, then the part is repeated, allowing the correct quantity for
each model to be shown. PER SHIP column represents total requirement for entire airplane.

It will also be noted that no illustrated drawings have been furnished for this Parts Catalog, therefore,
selection of parts must be made by Part Name only. It is not believed that this will hamper rapid selection
of parts, as very appropriate names were given the parts, indicating their location on the airplane.

This Parts Catalog has been divided into eight main sections, and are identified and found herein, as
