Ranthane
Ranthane High Solids (HS) Polyurethane for Primed Metal, Composites, and Fabric
Polyurethane paint sticks well to everything, so you can use it on fabric, primed metal, and fiberglass. It gives a high-gloss “wet-look” finish that is impervious to chemicals and staining. You can use Ranthane HS over the fabric and metal parts; all surfaces will have the same gloss and uniform look. Ranthane HS requires only half the catalyst than the original version of Ranthane products, or a 2:1 ratio. The original version of Ranthane products are no longer available.
Ranthane is flexible enough for use over fabric and has an outstanding service record. You can also paint primed steel tubing that will come in contact with fabric cement and dope with no fear of lifting. The down side of Ranthane polyurethane is that it is more difficult to repair than dope (you must sand it off), and it cannot be rejuvenated because it is impervious to solvents.
